As we have promised we are implementing an IM and chat facility into ServicePals.com. Chat has been one of the most requested services on ServicePals.com since its relaunch, so we have now added both chat and IM. We hope to improve site “stickiness” and repeat visits but ultimately compound the already successful user experience .
Users will be able to use the chatroom to communicate with other members who are not necessarily added pals. Who knows, friendships may be created and ultimately connections made from pals of pals. We hope the service will go down a storm and it will be monitored closely for usage so that we can assess its value which will lead to further development. The chat itself includes an audio video option too, enabling users not only to text chat but video chat as well, a great way to get in touch with old pals who you haven’t seen since the “good old days”. We hope you enjoy the chatroom facility and IM , our main mission is to connect servicepeople and we think chat and IM will enhance our aim.
